Our D/D grade structural NZ pine T&G roofing plywood is made tough for those behind-the-scenes roofing jobs where looks aren’t important – just strength and reliability.

Made in NZ from radiata pine, this ply meets the standards for structural performance and is commonly used under roofing with asphalt shingles or roofing systems where a smooth substrate is not required. Otherwise this versatile ply can be used for decking substrates, or other areas where the plywood won’t be seen but still needs the strength.

Both faces are D-grade, so you’ll see more imperfections like knots, splits, patches or glue bleed – but that’s all good when it’s getting covered anyway.

Available in both untreated and H3.2 treated, so you can use it for internal and external applications.

Why it’s a great option for roofing projects:

  • Made right here in NZ from radiata pine.

  • Structural-grade with an exterior glue-line.

  • Meets NZS 3604 & AS/NZS 2269 standards.

  • Strong, stable, and easy to work with.

  • Available in multiple thicknesses and sizes.
