Introducing Plywood City’s Plyfast Screws
Plyfast Screws – Designed with input from Plywood people, Builders and other end users and one or two suggestions from the odd Technocrat. Oh, and of course the Manufacturers.
Plyfast Screws – As the name suggests we primarily had plywood in mind when designing and producing these screws. They, however, have exceeded our expectations and can be used in many other areas. Demands on the construction industry to provide a 50 year guarantee on non accessible fixings and fastenings was one of the reasons behind PLYFAST SCREWS.
Specify Plyfast Screws – For a durable, high quality, NEW ZEALAND MADE, stainless steel, screw.
Specify Plyfast Screws – For positive square drive heads. Once the driver is engaged with the screw it remains engaged when held well below the horizontal, obviously advantageous for one handed operation.
In the first instance we had in mind fastenings for the plywood substrate for Butyl membranes. This naturally would include plywood in bracing situations, plywood Flooring, Decking and plywood Claddings, (only the meece will squeak? No more fastening poping).
Plyfast Screws – For Bugle Head Screws. A gentle curving V. The feature inherent in this head shape is that it allows the formation of a gasket type seal as it flares down into pre finished panel surfaces, eliminating the exposing of veneers, keeping moisture at bay. The head design also provides efficient holding attributes in high pressure situations. Again the thread is designed to be self tapping in plywood panels. In recognition that Industries such as the Sign Industry demand a high quality finish, our Bugle head screw provides just that and in combination with the gasket seal and ease of use is an ideal solution to panel fixing problems. The screws being stainless steel. minimises any staining of finished surfaces.
